To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Cadillac CTS, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. I found this product to be ok if used as directed. Looks better than the chip however color is a few shades off on the dark side. I contribute this to the new paint versus old and brush versus spray. Original paint ages no matter how well a person keeps their car up. This product is a bit on the expensive side but better than nothing and as comparable as other touch up products I have used.
