To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2004 Cadillac Deville, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. Ordered a can of U379E Red Tint Coat Metallic and Clearcoat for our '04 Deville to paint the recently-replaced passenger mirror. Paint came about a week later. Spray pattern of both the red and the clearcoat was outstanding; laying down a fine mist that allowed one to build up several thin layers for a great finish. Color match was very good; it is difficult to tell that the mirror is new, and I even used the red to touch up some other damaged areas of the car. Great product!

I was working on the exterior rear view mirrors that were faded from sun exposure. I used the base coat, clear coat spray cans. After light sanding with 2000 paper, I applied the product as directed. The paint was a perfect match, with quick drying times. The job went very well and saved big bucks by doing it myself. Good products that were easy to use.

The front drivers door was damaged on the lower left and the rear door had dents which I was able to fix with Bondo after grinding to the bare metal. The combination of Automotive Touch Up Prep Sol, Primer, Base Coat and Clear did a great job.
