CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Cadillac Fleetwood, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Cadillac Fleetwood is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jason, owner of a 1999 Cadillac from TN

I am using several products from automotivetouchup.com to color match some fiberglass trim on ragtop kit for VW Bug. I haven't tried the base coat and clear coat yet because the products arrived so fast I haven't got a chance to use them. I thought it might take a few weeks before the order would be filled plus shipping time, but the products came within a week. Our family vacation came up and I just got back. The Adhesion Promoter and the Sandable Primer look great. Those two products went on really smooth, especially the primer. It's been a week or two and Now its time to wet sand and apply the base coat and clear coat. Stay tuned...

Aaron S, owner of a 1999 Cadillac Seville from Walworth, WI

Perfect match!!! I did the body work myself. It would have cost more to have an auto-body shop do the work than my 1999 Cadillac is worth. I was offered $!,500 for trade in value for my car. The car works very good, so I really don't need a different car. The only problem was the back wheel well which needed to be patched in as well as fixing the corroded area that was starting to come through to the outer surface of the car. So, I did the body work both inside the wheel well and on the outer surface above the wheel well. I bought the spray can paint from you, and it went on without any problems, and the color was a perfect match. It blended in perfectly, and there weren't any run marks. In fact, I can't even tell where the damaged area was since it blends in perfectly with the original paint on the car. Thanks a lot for a great product from Automotive Touchup. Next time I need touchup paint, I know where to go. Aaron
