CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1975 Cadillac (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1975 Cadillac (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Mark K, owner of a 1975 Cadillac from Pacific Grove, CA

You guys are fantastic. I don't see how you can make such a small amount of paint and have it be perfect. I have used you twice for two different cars and I love it.

Eddy Bean, owner of a 1975 Cadillac from Blaine, WA

This is my first experience of buying from Automotive Touchup / Microfinish. I thought I should write this because my experience is completely positive. I ordered 3 products from AutomotiveTouchup: Primer, Basecoat and Clearcoat for a 1975 Cadillac Eldorado color code 36. I went online, paid with PayPal and waited. After about 10 days I wrote to them using their support email address to find out what was happening. I also thought it would be a good idea to look them up and found some worrying reviews online, so I considered registering a dispute with PayPal. I was at the 'click to dispute' button, but it was late so I left it till the next day. In the morning I had an email from Sheila at AutomotiveTouchup telling me exactly what I needed to know and when my order was going to ship. So fingers off complaint buttons, lets be patient. 2 days later, another update email, I see something has shipped so now it's a trackable delivery. I received the package, a well packaged box with the products inside, plus the test card, and a little ad card. The basecoat says Cadillac 36, exactly what I ordered. Today I used it, followed the instructions, primer, basecoat and clearcoat. Perfect color match, all 3 products worked perfectly. The job is done and for a fraction of what it costs to go to an outside solution. I don't know where negative reviews come from but my experience has been 100% positive. I think where they could improve is updating customers if the order is taking a littl

Kevin S, owner of a 1976 Cadillac from Honolulu, HI

I have a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible with less than 10K miles. The color match was spot-on! I used the spray paint to touch up my hub caps, and the bottle paint to fill in a few paint-chips on the hood. I very pleased with your product and plan on ordering additional products for my 2015 Cadilac CTS-V.
