I had to replace the passenger side rear view mirror on my wife's car. I didn't want to pay paint and body shop prices just to prep and paint this mirror. After carefully masking the mirror I scuffed the black plastic mirror with a Scotchbrite pad and cleaned it. I put three coats of adhesion promoter, four coats of base color, and four coats of clear. The results: I can't tell the difference between the mirror I painted and the factory painted mirror on the other side. Color match was perfect. I was able to get excellent coverage with the base coat without any runs or orange peel. The clear coat went on just as good. Whenever I need to paint small automotive parts, or minor touch ups, I will order my supplies from AutomotiveTouchup.com

I received the touch up paint and clear coat in a timely manner, however, I haven't had a chance to use it yet due to the cold weather. Maybe Indian Summer will arrive or I must wait until spring! Price is fair and I am glad that owners of older cars have this option as well as body shops.

Seems today, some older cars flake their finish off of plastic bumpers and such. AutomotiveTouchup has the color and clearcoat needed to fix this and is easy and affordable to maintain such troublesome areas on our older vehicles, and new ones.

I was dreading the thought of trying to match up the color on my vehicle and actually do a quality touch up job. The primer, basecoat, and clear coat from automotive touchup, however, made the job easy and the color matches perfectly! I'm ready to tackle another touch up job soon.

I bought clear coat & base color. It works great. One reason I like it so much better is the spray nozzle gives you much better coverage than those usual teeny-tiny nozzles on the touchup sprays at auto parts stores. The Automotive Touchup nozzle is about halfway between those little ones and a pro sprayer. Especially on the clear coat, that's important because you can lay down a wetter coat without that streaked look you get with other sprays in a can. I previously used automotive touchup to do do a pearlized bumper on my son-in-law's car. So, there was a base coat, another coat on top of that (I've forgotten what you call that), then the clear coat. I blended in the colors, so I wouldn't have to do the whole bumper, then clear coated the whole bumper. It looks GREAT!
