CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1998 Buick Skylark, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1998 Buick Skylark is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Ryan, owner of a 1999 Buick Park Avenue from Minnesota

Hi, Just wanted to thank you for an excellent product. I had a bunch of rust on the bottom of my Buick Park Avenue. Your website helped me find the exact paint code match, in a spray can nonetheless. Anyway, after sanding the rust off, spraying some primer over the sanded area, I was able to spray everything on the bottom of both doors, both sides, below the moldings with one can - and the match was spot on. It looks like I spent about $500 to have it fixed - but it really only cost the price of one of your cans of spray and some misc. tape and sandpaper. Thanks!
