CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1982 Buick (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1982 Buick (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Mike, owner of a 1982 Buick from Ohio

The paint system is a perfect match. The results were better than I could imagine. I plan to use this process to paint my car hood in the near future. Your how to videos were very helpful. The web site was easy to use. The paint pricing was reasonable. The shipping was fast. A great product and price for a do it yourselfer. Mike

Dianne S, owner of a 1982 Buick from Fombell, PA

Easy to work with and great color match.

Ron Stockall, owner of a 1983 Buick from Coarsegold, CA

I used the pen on rock chips on the 86 Jag and also on my 83 Riviera. Did a great job on matching. So easy to use and now have leftover paint for future chips. The paint pen sure made a difference.
