Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2002 Audi A3 Sportback is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

John K, owner of a 2001 Audi TT Roadster from Carlsbad, CA

I had various results with my touch-up job. The plastic bumper looks fantastic, with a high gloss and great color match. The rear fenders look good on the vertical surfaces, degrading as the surfaces curve around to the trunk and become horizontal. The trunk repaint was not very good. Where the color match is still good, the texture is very grainy and not very glossy. Not much of an improvement over what it looked like before. I'm thinking that sanding between the paint and clearcoats might have helped, or maybe wet sanding after the clearcoat with 1000 rather than 2000. Maybe I didn't take enough off? I followed the directions on your videos, but can't help but thinking there may have been a better way to go about it.

Salvatore C, owner of a 2001 Audi TT Coupe from Brooklyn, NY

Am very satisfied with the results, after I applied a rubber bumper like thingy that I placed on the lowest rung of my grill,I used the Automotive touch up to paint it, and from a short distance, you can't even notice the rubber thingy........perfect Denim Blue Match for my 2001 TT Am going away for a month, but when I get back I plan to order another can....
