CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Audi A6 Avant, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code is normally located in the back compartment panel in the trunk. Click here for an Audi paint code location diagram and label example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Audi A6 Avant is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Lee Walker, owner of a 2000 Audi A6 from Ohio

Just want to say that I'm an very pleased with your product. After a failed attempt to match the paint based on the cap of some advanced auto paint I did some research and found you guys. I got the 12oz spray can to do some chip repairs on my 2000 Audi a6. It matches fantastically. I will definitely be a return customer and refer anyone to you who is in need of high quality factory match paint. Thank you very much!!!

Gary A L, owner of a 2000 Audi TT Coupe from BC Canada

At first I only used Automotive Touchup for those little bottles of touchup paint, to repair stone chips (which are great by the way). But then I tried the spray paint with clear coat to paint some add on body parts (spoilers etc). The match is just incredible, and with the clear coat, it turns out mirror shiny. It is perfectly acceptable for small parts that you want an exact match for, or for quick fixes that you don't want to pay the body shop for. I've used this for both my Audi and BMW, both are metallic colours, so would seem hard to match, but not!
