CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1990 Audi Quattro, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code is normally located in the back compartment panel in the trunk. Click here for an Audi paint code location diagram and label example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1990 Audi Quattro is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Raul I Ortiz, owner of a 1991 Audi from Truchas, NM

I purchased my touch up kit from you a few weeks ago and tested the color on the inside of the trunk and it looks perfect to me. Now I am tossed between doing all the touch ups myself, which I am not too sure I can handle or take it to a full body shop to make sure it gets done right, and only because I am not a painter or body man.

Richard B, owner of a 2008 Audi A6 from Auburn, ME

I had a chipped driver's door handle. Ordered the aerosol paint and aerosol clear coat. Prepped the area by sanding, cleaning and taped off the area and wedged up the handle to allow spray to reach the underside edges. Applied 3 coats of paint and 4 coats of clear coat. The color matched perfectly. No eggshell or running occurred. As a side note, I'm not a body man at all just an DIYer, so I was a bit nervous about the project but if you do your prep work and don't over spray than the results will be professional looking. It took about 4 hours start to finish. Very happy with automotivetouchup.com.
