CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1971 Audi (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code is normally located in the back compartment panel in the trunk. Click here for an Audi paint code location diagram and label example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1971 Audi (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Dennis K, owner of a 2014 Audi A5 Cabrio from Clayton, NC

The previous owner of my A5 had apparently hit a lot of curbs, cement parking dividers, etc. as the front splitter had numerous scratches in the paint. I found Automotive Touchup via a Google search. They expertly and quickly filled my custom order for the Moonlight Blue factory paint. I sprayed the underneath of the splitter about a week ago and it looks fantastic! It is a perfect match and looks like the day it rolled onto the showroom floor! I'm now working on some chips on the door edges and when I'm finished it will look like a brand new car. Thanks much and would highly recommend your company to the World!

Elated Customer, owner of a 2013 Audi A6 from Clinton Corners, NY

Very pleased with product and service.

Debra W, owner of a 2013 Audi A6 from West Chester, PA

I ordered Moonlight Blue base coat and clear coat for my Audi A6 after a different product I tried didn't provide a good match. The Automotive Touchup was a perfect match and went on well. I used a micro brush rather than the brush in the lid of the bottle and it worked very well for applying very small dabs of paint, essential for keeping the repair as invisible as possible. It does start getting tacky pretty quickly, so don't try to do too much at once. Otherwise, it will clump. I spent a lot of time on my repair (brand new car) and I'm very pleased with my results. I would definitely recommend Automotive Touchup and would buy from them again without hesitation.
