To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While driving my new Acura TL, I heard a bump on the side of my drivers door. Come to find out it was a dried mud rock that fell of the side of a pick up truck and hit my car. It left two small chips on the side of the door. With the use of Automotive touch up, I have a hard time finding were the the damage occurred. It would take a trained eye to see it and even then you would have to point it out.
