To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2011 Acura RDX, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. I had to apply the paint at 50-degree temperatures in my garage, which isn't recommended. The paint and clear coat sprayed perfectly and looks great under the conditions in the garage. The paint can instructions were helpful, keeping paint can shaked between coats. Preparation prior to painting is important using 1000 grit emery cloth and removal of fine particles with lint cloth.
