Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2009 Acura Mdx is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Thank you so much, The paint matched perfectly and I am very much pleased. We are going to order more touch up paint for our other vehicles.

John B, owner of a 2009 Acura MDX from Eureka, MO

It was tricky using the attached brush to apply the paint and clear coat smoothly. A small artist brush might be a better method to touch up.

Michael G, owner of a 2009 Acura MDX from Carmel, NY

I was very pleased with the color match of your paint. I used the spray cans of paint and clear coat on a relatively small area on the rear bumper. However, I was less satisfied with the touch up paint in the bottle, used in a couple of scratches. Applying the paint with the provided brush applied too thick a coat. I then used a finer brush and it was a little better. The less than expected outcome could be my inexperience in applying this variety of paint.

Justin W, owner of a 2009 Acura MDX from Cheswick, PA

Aspen Pearl White color match for 2009 Acura MDX is excellent. I purchased the 2 oz. containers that each come with a small brush. The hardest part of the process for me is consistently applying the 3 step (base, pearl finish and clear coat) process for a smooth finish, but the product is definitely worth it. Thank you.
