To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2017 Lexus RC, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. So I had ordered a bottle of touch-up direct from my Lexus dealer. My car color is ultrasonic blue mica. The Lexus touch-up did not match at all ( it was like a blackish brown when it dried). So I ordered some paint from Automotivetouchup.com, it matches a lot better. It is not perfect with a slightly different shade of blue (lighter). But it has three bottles base, mid, clear topcoat and I may need to apply more base. I will have to experiment to get the hue closer to match the original color. But overall I am happy because it is close, you have to look real hard to notice the touched up part.
