CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2004 Toyota MR2, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. Excellent color match!! I'm very pleased with this product and it was easy to apply with good results. I used the recommendation on one can per 7 sq ft and ended up with way too much primer. Better directions would be good. Not sure how/why you need to spray coats within 5 minutes of each other. [ATU Note: You need to wait AT LEAST 5 minutes between coats of color, 10 minutes between coats of clear. Wait 30 minutes to an hour (even longer is ok) before moving on from color to clear.]
