Restore Your 2009 Toyota MR2 Finish In Two Steps

Select Your Toyota's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Toyota MR2 using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2009 Toyota MR2 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Michael L, owner of a 2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid from Wirtz, VA

The tips of the pens do not allow for a smooth finish. I was able to sand the primer, however the color went on in ridges due to the sponge tip and therefore so did the clear. Sanding would have gone through the clear into the color necessitating a near total redo. I will actually redo it come warmer weather. For now the chips are protected from the elements. I love the concept, but spraying will hopefully yield acceptable results.

Mike A, owner of a 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid from Maple Valley, WA

I am totally impressed. I was a little nervous about attempting the touch up. But, with a rare sunny Fall day, I decided to do it. There were numerous scrapes mostly on the front bumper... very unsightly. I couldn't believe how easy this was. A quick sanding with ultra fine sand paper, spray on some primer, spray the color and finish with the gloss coating. Perfect match. There is a very slight difference since the old paint adjoining has been subject to the elements for the last six years, but it's not enough to really notice. I am very pleased with the results.
