I had some rock damage that I repaired and needed to paint it. I ordered a 12 oz rattle can, expecting the color to match somewhat. After spraying down the base coat, I was shocked at how well it matched, but assumed it would look bad after curing. So I applied the clear coat, let it cure, and it looked amazing. I cannot even tell that there was a dent, let alone previous paint. The body shop wanted to charge me $600 to repair the rocker. I fixed it and painted it for under $100. I ordered an aerosol touch-up base coat using my Toyota paint number but the match was not good. I reserve judgement because I suspect that my 12 year old Highlander OEM paint color may have faded over the years. Something to consider.
