CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1966 Toyota (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Toyota paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1966 Toyota (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Thomas M, owner of a 1967 Toyota from El Prado, NM

Great product, great service. Vintage paints are easily found here. Lots of great applications and choices of how to dispense the product. I will shop again here

Alfred G, owner of a 2002 Toyota Highlander from Lexington, KY

Over the past few years I have repaired six or seven dented plastic bumpers on our cars. The dents are usually on the corners and range from small to major. In some cases I ordered a brand-new bumper on the Internet rather than try and repair the damage to an existing bumper. I have used the full range of automotive touchup products to prepare the surface of the bumper, and then paint it, and then spray on the clear coat . And I am delighted to tell you that whether it was a replacement bumper or a repaired bumper the automotive touchup products matched the color exactly, and by the time you put the clear coat on you could never tell that it was replaced or repaired. I needed to paint the cover on a side view mirror to match the car. Your paint (base and clear coat) were perfect, even a good but hypercritical friend noted it looked professional quality and coming from him that is a clear compliment! Will buy from you again when the need arises.
