CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2011 Mercedes-Benz C Class, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The code on your identificaiton sticker will normally have many numbers in it with no prefix identifying a number as a paint code. With the low bumpers on my Mercedes C-300, it was inevitable that I would scratch them on a concrete bumper in a parking space. It was isolated to the bottom of the bumper and not visible unless you were under the car, but would be found when I turned in the car at the end of the lease- so it had to be fixed.. Dealer quoted $ 788 to fix. But decided to try to do it myself. After sanding the scratches with a 800 grit emery paper, I used two coats of the matching spray paint and then the gloss overcoat. A perfect match and can not see any difference between original and touch up. saved me over $ 700. Thank you
