I had a place the size of a dinner plate on the hood of my car where the clearcoat was peeling off like a sunburn. Tried to sand the edges and just put clear over it, but I screwed it up and decided to sand, prime, paint and clear the whole spot. The paint was a perfect match, and I was amazed at how well it came out. I had never before put the first drop of paint on a car. Now my neighbor wants me to repair scratches on his car!
