Basecoat color is exact. The basecoat color goes on easily and covers well. I painted an entire front bumper cover and the paint adhered well to the primer that was on the cover, and paint appears to be evenly distributed, not light and dark spots.

I have no experience doing body work, but a friend from church scraped a wall with her old car, and had no money to repaint the fender.
