CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2011 GMC Canyon, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Click here for GMC paint code location chart and paint code label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2011 GMC Canyon is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

RGS, owner of a 2011 GMC Canyon from MI

Used to fill paint chips so far. Paint color was a perfect match. Have used OEM touch up paint from MFGs and it always looked like a gob of whatever. Your paint was great. It flowed off the brush and covered the chipped area perfectly, never had any other touch up flow like yours did. I am glad I found your website and took a chance with you. Very pleased. RGS

Roger D Moore, owner of a 2011 GMC Acadia from Mint Hill NC 28227

My order for touch up paint on my 2011 GMC Acadia met all of expectations. Shipping was excellent and the touch up paint matched exactly. Highly recommend anyone needing touch up paint this is the company you should use.

Stephen S, owner of a 2011 GMC Yukon from Morrisville, NC

The match of my GMC white diamond tricoat was great. But, there were NO instructions of any kind to apply your product. I'm not a professional auto painter, and I'm guessing most of your clients are not. Detailed instruction pamphlets, and possibly even a quality YouTube video would be really helpful. It seems sill to have such a quality product, and then drop the ball in the final 10 yards, when the client gets your paint, and has to use trial and error to get it on properly. Very frustrating, it took me three attempts to put this on, sanding down each time the mistakes. Thanks, Stephen Cary, NC [ATU Note: I understand your frustration. On the top of every page there is a link to the directions section. Once you get to the directions page you'll need to scroll a little for the tricoat area.]
