Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2011 Ford Ranger is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Steve G, owner of a 2011 Ford Ranger from Oxford, AL

My recently purchased used Ford Ranger truck had a bad scratch on the rear bumper. I just could not live with that so I ran across the automotive touch up web site and decided to attempt the fix myself. I knew that I would have to paint the entire bumper area out after the repair so I was aware of the steps. My truck is a silver metallic and because I'm I school trained auto body tech(retired) I know how difficult it is to get a good paint match with metallic colors. The paint(spray can) that I ordered proved to be an absolutely perfect paint match. I was able to repair and repaint my bumper for less than $50 dollars. It would have cost probably 5 times that at a body shop. Thanks Automotive Touch Up!

Todd S, owner of a 2011 Ford Ranger from Saint Germain, WI
