Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1958 Ford All Models is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jerry D S, owner of a 1958 Ford from Ackerman, MS

I have used your 12 ounce cans of Touch Up paint and clear coat on my 1958 Ford Fairlane 500 two door hardtop, 1963 Buick Riviera and 2003 red Mustang and my wife's 2003 Toyota. If the factory paint is still on a car, Automotive TouchUp matches perfectly. I have used regular primer with all but the 2003 Mustang. I tried their sandable gray primer with my last project and love it. I highly recommend AutomotiveTouchup products.

Dale F, owner of a 1957 Ford from Perrysburg, NY

I had a couple of major paint flakes come off the trunk of my 1957 Ford Thunderbird. Although the car is red in color, I knew the original factory color was white. I took a guess and ordered touchup paint for the 1957 Ford color Fiesta Red. I received the paint but it was a little too orange in tint. Since Fiesta Red was an early Ford color, I thought I would try again with a long used Ford color (of later years) Rangoon Red. Well, I nailed it and the Rangoon Red paint was a perfect match. The color match exceeded my expectations and saved me qute a bit from what a shop would have charged to computer match the paint. I put the almost new bottle of Fiesta Red on eBay and recovered some of my loss on my original color guess. All in all, a success story for an amateur who knows nothing about paint. Thank you Automotive Touchup!

Thomas S, owner of a 1957 Ford from Minneapolis, MN

I have a 1957 Ford Thunderbird that is white. It is an old repaint and has some scratches where the primer was showing. I am replacing some trim pieces over the winter and wanted to touch up the scratches while the trim was off. The color is an exact match. The paint flowed so nicely I can hardly tell its been retouched. On top of all that shipping was really quick. I am very happy with the paint and would recommend these guys to anyone.
