To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2014 Chevrolet Caprice, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. I found the paint to be excellent match and quality - I had three bottles (Base color, mid color sparkles, clear coat). All good and that clear coat is nice is tough (based on final leveling/sanding, cutting and polish. Highly recommended. I had trouble with the sparkles as it tended to be had to get the right amount - not an issue with the paint but more matching with a brush in the scratch area. by the way to micro brushes are awesome - allowing to get the amount of paint to less than a drop - worked well. thanks
