Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2001 BMW Z4 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Don D, owner of a 2001 BMW 5-Series from Jackson, MI

My BMW had a few rust areas that I wanted to get repaired before driving it through another Michigan winter. The rust had bubbled the paint, but it did not perforate the metal. I ordered a spray can of touch up paint and clear coat, the paint was a little lighter in color but considering that this was ordered using the factory paint code for a 15 year old vehicle, I was very pleased. The repaired areas are now sealed up for the winter, I plan to have the rear quarter panels painted by a professional shop in the spring. Thanks for the help

Don N, owner of a 2001 BMW 3-Series Cabrio from California

Two for two excellent color matches. First did the hood of my 2001 Isuzu Trooper, grey, results were great. Then did the rear plastic fairing of my 2001 BMW 325ci convertible, metallic blue. Really nice matches and finish.
