I am very pleased with the outcome of the paint match. I painted my (chrome) lower grill on my r53 Cooper S and it came out phenomenal. I just prepped it with alcohol wipes and didn't even scuff it up or primed it. I used paint code 871 with a can of clear and just took my time and it came out awesome! I have no problem with the product, as it works well. However the "Mini 2005 Liquid Yellow" is a shade or two brighter than the original color. That's comparing it to the color in the door jabs that are not faded by the sun.
