Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2007 Land Rover Defender is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Adrian C, owner of a 2006 Land Rover LR3 from Plymouth, NH

I have been using these products for years now, every time I get an exact match and shipping is always prompt even the least expensive version that I chose. My customers are always very happy and make sure they know exactly where I got the materials for the repairs. I only wish that you guys had a business account set up for someone like me who orders on a weekly basis.

Rodelio A, owner of a 2006 Land Rover Range Rover Sport from Los Angeles, CA

My 2006 Range Rover Sport had two areas on the roof where the paint had chipped-off in pancake-sized proportions. The rear wing spoiler on the roof had clear coat stripping and bubbling as well. The paint provided by AutomotiveTouchup MATCHED PERFECTLY! In fact, better than the body shop that had repainted an OEM rear bumper panel I had just installed. The key to making it indistinguishable is prepping the surface properly by cleaning, sanding, and masking. I was able to do these large areas fairly quickly by doing several thin coats of paint, and several thin coats of clearcoat. After sanding and very diluted rubbing compound, you absolutely CANNOT see where the oem paint job starts and the paint AutomotiveTouchup provided. With their paint and a good online tutorial on automotive paint touch-up, you will definitely save yourself hundreds (in my case, thousands) of dollars.
