The roof of the Jetta was cloudy, nearing the time the clear begins to chip. I ran across your website, read some reviews and decided to try to paint the roof myself. The color was solid black, I was unsure of the three coats I sprayed because of some inconsistency of the Matt finish on the base coat. I called the hotline and you immediately assured me that when I shot the clear it would be fine.....well it did come out fine. Color was a good match. I am in the middle of just rubbing it out to finish the job. Your prompt help took the guesswork out of it.
Word of caution, use the correct respirator. Prepping always will take longer than the actual painting.

Excellent purchase. Color was a match. Application was to a side mirror prior to installation and the spray cans made it easy to accomplish. Even better was the customer service. I originally purchased some paint using another site online. I forgot that some of the sites use fuzzy matching for keywords, no matter how exact you might be in keying in the exact color code. The paint was a dead-on match.
Although my color was not listed with the Jetta for 2003. The color was 2005 Volkswagen Fox: Dark Reflexsilber Metallic LA7W. You may wish to add it to the 2003 VW Jetta listings.

I own a 03 Jetta Gli that came stock with that ugly VW/Audi flat black front and rear lip that didn't match the car. After some research I decided to order my matching paint from automotive touchup. All the supplies came in about a week and with some careful work i painted them to match my car. For $80 I did about $500 in shop work and it turned out great. I will be back to take care of some peeling clear coat really soon!

Six months ago I bought a used, white 2003 VW Jetta that had several black scrapes on the side panels and rear bumper. I only use it for transportation around town and had little concern about the blemishes. A couple weeks ago I Googled "auto touchup paint? just to see if there might be a way to kinda disguise the black spots. Wow, is there ever. The aerosol spray paint from Automotive Touchup is amazing. In a matter of minutes––without even masking the areas–– the car looks perfect. At first I thought I'd test a small area.
