Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Volkswagen Jetta is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Martin K O, owner of a 1999 Volkswagen Jetta from Alexandria, VA

I had been searching for the right match touch up paint for my VW Jetta till I stumbled on this site. The paint I bought was the exact match and they also provided good tips to help me do the work myself saving me money. They also have some good prices as well. They really worked hard to ship me the order and it came so quickly. I ordered more for my wife's Mazda Protege and it also came quickly. I would recommend them to anyone.

Kris, owner of a 1999 Volkswagen Jetta from Reading, PA

I received the touch up kit with the clear coat. I have to say the match is very very close to factory. It went on easy and it looks great. I will use you again for my touch up needs. My car is a 1999.5 so your color is probably a perfect match. The car was never painted, so it just has normal age. Thank you for a quick and painless order process!!!

Lise D, owner of a 1999 Volkswagen Jetta from St Paul, AB

Very impressed with the quality and color match!

Mark C, owner of a 1999 Volkswagen Jetta from Belmont, MI

Great products.. Color match was quite good for a 14 year old car... I ran short of clear coat on my project, so went to the local automotive supply to pick up another quart... that was a mistake, both products were the lacquer gloss, but the Automotive Touch Up product was far superior to the locally purchased product. I'm now looking at re-clear coating with Automotive Touch Up product ..(but not looking forward to the re-taping & applying...) to make it look right. Automotive Touch Up Gloss is exceptional, other brand was a step above semi-gloss leaving my car looking unprofessional. I'm not a professional auto body repair guy, but Automotive Touch Up product is the way to go for us DIY auto body type... I ordered the quarts for spraying in my cup sprayer.
