Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1969 Porsche (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Douglas P, owner of a 1969 Porsche from Eastpoint, FL

This car is a 1969 Porsche 911 hotrod; front & rear fender flares, fiberglass front & rear bumpers, and rally exhaust. It is painted in the 1973 Porsche Gulf Blue # 328. I scraped the right rear flare moving the car about the shop. Over the years the cookie cutter tail pipes had burned the lower edge of the rear bumper. I used your urethane base coat/clearcoat; it worked very well. The rear bumper looks great! I got a slight blush on the rear quarter due to the extreme humidity I believe. Humidity is supposed to be much better this week so I will re-shoot the blushed area. I lightly wet sanded the base coat with 1200 grit between the color coat to knock the dust nibs off. It worked great. I have used your base coat/clear coat products before in the past and have always been very pleased with the results. Best regards, Doug

Great stuff.

The spray paint I bought matches my car exactly. Easy to use but could be a little thicker.
