Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1970 Plymouth (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Very informative and knowledgeable about their paints and products. I've only done and test patch so far because of our cold weather but it looked very good. I'm not worried about telling friends to try their paints. The price is very reasonable and getting a product premixed is a bonus.

Automotive touchup supplied spray can of Plymouth In-Violet paint for my Cuda. It was a perfect match to the 47 year original paint and sprayed on smoothly. Great product. Thanks

Brad M, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Chesterfield, MI

Thank you for great service and a dead on color match...I still can't believe how well the color matched from a spray can...WOW keep doing a great job!!

Michael S, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Southington, OH

Firstly this is not meant to be a negative review. I hope it to be informative. Months ago I ordered a touch up pen. Color match was awesome BUT, remember we are only dealing with a small chip or scratch. Because I was pleased I ordered an aerosol for a larger area of bolt-on parts that I needed to deal with. The aerosol was very, very close but in this case, I feel I won't be able to use it on a section of rocker panel I would like to address. I have a Lime Lite Green car but to my eye, the car has a little more yellow in it than the paint had. The cars paint was applied in the early ninety's so there could have been fade, could be the person mixing the color back then fudged the recipe a little too. Who knows and that's why I can't fault Automotivetouchup. I'll try to include pictures for your review. Again. Very, very close. You may find it to be just fine for your tastes. Thank You Very much for a great product.

Ralph D, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Thomaston, CT

Overall was a good touch up paint downside was too light in color needed more green but sealed the nicks in paint irregardless, done!

Christopher W, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from El Cajon, CA

Ok ... I have a hotrod 51' chevy truck painted 70's "Sublime green" and I just built a teardrop trailer and want to match paint but the local shops wanted $800 to paint just 1/2 of the little trailer ... I decided I could prep and "Rattle-can" this thing so I ordered 8 cans from AutomotiveTouchup hoping it would at least be close.... Wow ... The base coats went on perfectly and I then covered with clear (many coats) and it was exactly what I needed !!! ... All the car shows coming up this spring and my truck and teardrop are ready !!! ... You can't miss it ... Way bright green !!! I'm happy ....

Daniel P, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Indianapolis, IN

I ordered a 2 ounce touchup bottle of 1970 Plymouth Deep Burnt Orange Metallic. First surprise is that it arrived in about a week. Greatest surprise is that it matched perfectly. This paint is something I could not get at a local Chrysler dealer and I'm sure a major custom paint supplier would be out of the "reasonable cost" range. Price, delivery time and color match all perfect!

Michael S, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from OH

GREAT! I have no idea how but this touch up matched perfectly. The last repaint on my car was approximately 22 years, yes years ago and this touch up matched. Awesome. I had a very deep chip that went to bare metal. I applied a couple coats of color over the period of a couple days and then a few coats of clear. (I used the paint pen). I then sanded lightly to get the paint levels even and rubbed the small area out by hand. Blended in so nice. Thanks!

TD, owner of a 1970 Plymouth

Nice match for my vintage Sublime Mopar! Thanks

Randy S, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Maquoketa, IA

Very nice match took a little longer than I expected but right on on color.

John P, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Bensalem, PA

I had been trying to find the factory color for my 70 Plymouth I was happy to find a company to make it to order I am in the process of detailing my engine compartment and other small areas the color is very close and the engine compartment looks great. I was very happy with the product.

Gerald S, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Corunna, MI

Amazing! I had my reservations at first (seriously, a rattle can?). But I decided to pull the trigger and ordered a can to freshen up my engine compartment before reinstalling the engine. Wow, could not believe the results. A more perfect match would be hard to come by with a professional body shop. All my friends (who are not strangers to auto rebuilds) were amazed at the outcome. Will not hesitate to use this process in the future. Thank-you, Jerry Smolinski Corunna, MI.

Earl G, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Toms River, NJ

I have an old car had it for years was never sure of the color of the car, I took a guess it was a 1970 Dodge color and it was a perfect match. Thank you, I will use you guys again if I decide to repaint the whole car.

Keith S, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Harriman, TN

I ordered the Aerosol cans , of Ivy Metallic Green , and the color match is amazing. I've painted the hard to get to places, on my GTX, and the color is a perfect match to the original. I'm very pleased with this product and the ease of ordering.

Daniel H, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Youngstown, OH

I was very pleased with the color match. The paint job on my Cuda is 29 years old and had numerous small chips. After using your paint and a little TLC I have a hard time finding most of them. It really has helped the overall appearance. Thanks for the quality product!

Jeff H, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Epping, NH

The color was an exact match. I'm in the automotive business and know how important this is to the customer. Am completely satisfied. Thank-you Jeff Hurlbert of Hurlbert Toyota

Mark, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from CA

I bought a bottle of PBE (06 Viper blue) from you to touch up my classic car that was painted in that color. I also bought a bottle of PBE color from one of you competitors on ebay just in case one was slightly different from the other. Your bottle of paint was spot on while the other company sent me the wrong color and I am still trying to get them to send the right color. In the future AutomotiveTouchup will be the only place I go to for touch up paint. Thank you

John William F, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Lansdale, PA

Awesome paint, never had a run or change in consistency. I use this paint on all of my r/c boats.

Duane P, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Lockport, IL

I was duplicating a metal die cast to a car I had in the 70s. I wanted it as perfect as I could so purchased your products to make it happen. It looks great and I am very satisfied.

Michael A, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Tucson, AZ

The color match was good with the Plymouth purple. Before the clear was applied it was very good. Now after the clear it is slightly lighter in the sunlight. Indoors it is very very close. You advertised the color as Plymouth Plum Crazy. Plum crazy is the Dodge color. Plymouth called it Inviolet.

Joe K, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Camp Hill, PA

Have a 70 Cuda that we painted Rallye Red back in around 2007 and had some damage done to the fender....Order Rallye Red paint and it matched perfectly.....Which really surprised me since the car was repaint years ago and not sure how close the color was at that time.....So I was very pleased to have the paint I order match perfectly.....

Steven S, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Williamstown, NJ

Ordered the spray can of plum crazy purple and it matched perfect was very satisfied.

Keith S, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Romeo, MI

I have used your products many times with great success and this time was no different. 1970 cuda' plum crazy purple, very nice color . For applying color just watch videos and apply as directed, my end results are flawless & no one can tell that there was a repair done.

Patrick J C, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Maspeth, NY

Using them for a few years...Most accurate match I've seen in a spray can...(for classic mopars)...Just wish I were closer to them so i won't have to wait for deliveries to NYC they average about 5 to 7 days...But it has to be manufactured on a per order basis.....Highly recommended just figure on the wait, well worth it Pat......

Al A, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Pompano Beach, FL

this is the best paint to use the color was right on it was used on a 1/24 scale die cast car that I had repaired fro a customer of mine I could not find the right color any were until I found your site Thanks and I will be ordering more form you Al Avery Hobbie Clinic Custom built die cast cars trucks, 1/18,1/24 scale

Joseph K, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Camp Hill, PA

Ordered a can of (hard to find) Rallye Red paint and clear coat to paint a rallye mirror for my 70 Cuda, and the color matched perfectly.....So much so, that i am considering ordering another car, just to have, in case need to paint some other things......Thank you...

Craig M, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Port Huron, MI

I recently order touch up for my classic car (1970 Roadrunner). The color match is perfect. The technician I spoke with on the phone was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Shipping was fast. Overall a great transaction. I have told my friends with cars about your company.

Ryan W, owner of a 1970 Plymouth from Blandon, PA

Love your product. I bought chrysler B5 in a spray cans and your primer and clear coat! I finally did my mirrors just to see how well the product worked. I loved it! Looks awesome. If you ever need a vendor on the east coast count me in! I'm heading to Carlisle which is a huge swap meet/car shows all summer long. I didn't see you in the directory but you should be represented there!
