Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1969 Plymouth (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Paint could be mixed to cover better. Too many coats required. Match is spot on.

Pam Y, owner of a 1969 Plymouth from Gibsonia, PA

I would like to start off by saying the customer support is second to none. Very helpful and friendly. The paint system is very high quality. I painted the engine bay on my ‘69 roadrunner and couldn’t be happier. I have a black stripe separating the original color and new paint so I cannot attest to an exact color match. I did however use the touch up kit for a few stone chips and it was spot on. I will continue to use the products on my future projects and would highly recommend to anyone.

Alan L, owner of a 1969 Plymouth from Bronx, NY

Excellent product, great match!

Craig A, owner of a 1969 Plymouth from New Bedford, MA

The purpose for ordering F3 frost green for 1969 Plymouth road runner was for not a full size auto but for a 1/25 scale model. This model is to recreate what was my first car. Since F3 matched the color of that auto it saved time by not having to mix colors to achieve same. The paint worked well and is clear coated, have not yet compounded and polished the paint. That will be shortly after I mimic the vinyl top and hood stripes. So far so good, would use the paint again on future projects .....

Stephen S, owner of a 1969 Plymouth from Keysville, VA

The color was a good match. It was used to repaint the spare tire rim and the radio bezel and both looked very good. I'll be sure to use you again next time the need arises. Thanks very much, Steve

Norman B, owner of a 1969 Plymouth from Chaplin, CT

Paint was an exact match, thank you.

Tom, owner of a 1969 Plymouth from Valencia, PA

I was a bit skeptic about the match. It's a 46 year old car with a repainted and I had a few large stone chips. I purchased the small bottle "kit" and a few touch up sticks. Fast shipping, great price and I was very happy with the products. Finally tried the touch up today and I'm very pleased. The color match is VERY close. For an obsolete paint color this is an awesome alternative. I will be looking into purchasing some for my daily drivers.

Eric L, owner of a 1969 Plymouth from Atlanta, TX

Mopar Enthusiast, I needed to match Plymouth T7 Dark Bronze Metallic on a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. I had some smaller interior things to paint. I used the aerosol, I found it to be a near perfect match. Great Paint!!

Fred H, owner of a 1969 Plymouth from Hayward, WI

I have not had to use the paint as yet but it looks real good.

Joe, owner of a 1969 Plymouth from CA

I have not used the product yet on the car, but plan to shoot the engine compartment and portion of the undercarriage with the F8 Ivy Green prior to the engine going back in the car. It's a 1969 Road Runner and will be, when completed, F8 Ivy Green on the outside and all black on the inside. The Ivy Green is one of the most difficult colors to locate. There were not that many painted that color back in the day, which is curious because it is probably the nicest looking color and does a great job showing off the lines better than any other stock Road Runner color. I expect the match to work perfectly. I've tested in on a piece of sheet metal and it looks terrific.

Rich B, owner of a 1969 Plymouth from Manahawkin, NJ

Finest product in a spray can we have ever used. Perfect match on color. We were working on underbody & in a hurry, but would consider using topside as well. Somewhat pricey, would purchase in case quantities if discounts applied.
