Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Kenneth G, owner of a 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT from Reseda, CA

I am completely satisfied with Automotivetouchup.com. My paint got sent to me right away and it was an exact match. I have a Mitsubishi 3000gt dark green metallic, and the color match was beyond perfect it actually made the chips disappear! It was like magic! The chip is there or the scratches there and then just dab a little bit of the perfect color match... Wham-o no more Chip no more scratch. I can't tell you how perfect the color match was I was absolutely blown away on the exactness. It may sound like I'm working for the company or I have something to do with the company but I just can't tell you how lucky I was to have come across this website. I highly recommend it to anyone out there who has things Chip or scratches that are noticeable... Just dab on a little bit of this paint, and they're gone. If you're like me after you detail your car, the only thing you see rather than a great finish that everybody else sees, all you see are the things that Chip and the irregularities. Now that I've touched up all the chips and scratches with perfect color match, now I can see what others see when I detail my car, awesomeness!

Mark W, owner of a 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT from Germanton, NC

Was very fast shipping and the color was a perfect match. Called the dealership before I found this website and was told my touch-up paint for my car was no longer made! Thanks much!

Noyheads, owner of a 1994 Mitsubishi Galant from California

I bought several of the following; 12 Oz Aerosol Sandable Acrylic Lacquer Primer, 12 Oz Basecoat Color, 12 Oz Aerosol High Gloss Clear Coat and Aerosol Spray Can Trigger. I am very satisfied with the results. I wish you would publish why I needed to wait for about 4 weeks or longer for waxing. I now understand 1K clear coat takes time to stabilize or harden. It is always good to know the reasons. Great service and products. Color matched very well with the original Mitsubishi black. [ATU Note: 4 weeks is only a guideline and dependant on film thickness and temperature of the painted substrate. It's suggested because solvents need to evaporate freely through the film. The film isn't fully hardened yet, some of the slow solvents need some time to escape the film. You don't want to scrub or polish on a soft film.]
