Restore Your Mercedes-Benz Finish In Two Steps

Select Your Mercedes-Benz's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2005 Mercedes-Benz Truck using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code so you can find it on the chart below. The code on your identificaiton sticker will normally have many numbers in it with no prefix identifying a number as a paint code. The paint code will either be three or four digits. Some times the code will have a prefix of DB but this is not consistant. Click here for Mercedes Benz examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2005 Mercedes-Benz Truck is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Glenn Davis, owner of a 2004 Mercedes-Benz CL Class from South Paris, Maine

Thanks for your super fast service. I usually use those typical 1/2 oz tall containers sold everywhere. I was never happy with their blob effect. Your paint was superior, went on silky smooth and covered perfectly. Thanks for a superior product.

Bob Tennies, owner of a 2004 Mercedes-Benz E Class from Kailua, HI

Hello Richard, I felt a little intimidated taking on a project of touching up stone chips and other scratches on my Mercedes. I was going to take it to a professional to have it done. Then I found your website and decided to try it myself. Because it was a metallic paint I was concerned about the color match. I used the prep solution to remove any wax in the area to be touched up. I used the microdabbers to apply the base coat color to the chips and scratched. The color matches perfectly. I overfilled a few of the chips and used 1500 grit wet sandpaper wrapped around the end of a flat carpenters pencil and patiently sanded it smooth. I then hand buffed the spots with polish made for removing fine scratches from clear coat finishes. You can't see any blemishes. The job looks professional. I'm very pleased with your products and help. Thank you.
