Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1998 Lotus Lotus is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Thomas W, owner of a 2005 Lotus Lotus from Trinity, AL

This product works as advertised! My 2005 Lotus had a nasty scratch on the wheel arch but now you have to know where to look to find it. I will definitely order a tube of color and a tube of clear for my wife genesis!

Donald H, owner of a 2005 Lotus from Kalamazoo, MI

After some confusion when ordering, I am happy with the end results on my 2005 Lotus Elise. First, there were no specific models listed for a 2005 Lotus, just "All Models" and "Lotus", which was a bit confusing. So I used "All Models" and found my color (Arctic Silver Metallic) listed. I later found out that my paint code number was actually different and not listed on the site for a 2005 Lotus, however, I would not be able to send the paint pen back. Luckily, the color seems to match fine and I am happy with the results. However, I think the information on the site should provide accurate/complete information and that you change your policy and offer refunds/exchanges if it doesn't.
