Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1980 Jaguar All Models is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Ed F, owner of a 1980 Jaguar from Pleasant View, TN

Had some rust issues on my 1980 XJ6 and had to replace bonnet and left fender. painted them up with basecoat and clearcoat and came out great. Excellent match. Nice not to have to mix and match and test and test for proper color match. Very happy with this arrangement. Will certainly use again.

Louis R, owner of a 2002 Jaguar from Inverness, FL

"Wonderful match on my 2002 Jaguar, and the spray can itself is very good quality." Lou from Florida

Kenneth M, owner of a 2002 Jaguar from Boca Raton, FL

After 14 years, my Jag had lost some paint on the right front fender and some rust was developing. There was also a bare spot next to the headlight. The videos were essential in showing me the correct way to prepare my car for painting and the proper painting procedure. I sanded everything down as instructed. I sprayed the areas that needed repair. The coverage of the paint is excellent. Two coats did the job but I added a third to be safe. The clear coat was just as easy. The most 'difficult' part of the process is the waiting time between coats. The spraying takes seconds. With all the waiting time, it took a little more than an hour. The car looks fantastic and I'm so glad I did this.
