My 2009 Ford Focus got some significant scratches on one body panel in a minor incident. I had no prior painting experience but I thought that I would give your product a try. I was a bit concerned as the car has metallic paint and I would be painting over the plastic panel that was scratched. This concerned me from a matching and adhesion standpoint. Well, after reading the directions on your website I decided to give it a try. I ordered the plastic adhesion product, primer, base coat and clear coat. Following the web site directions, I sanded the area and followed the step by step instructions. Everything went smoothly and the paint looks great! The color matches and the gloss matches well (my painting has about as much orange peel as the original :)). The only minor issue I has was knowing exactly where to mask and when to remove the masking. I masked along an adjacent seam. It turned out well, but I may have been able to make the resulting seam between new and old paint completely undetectable if I had done it slightly differently. As it is, only I can see it if I get within 12 inches. Also, I didn't know how long to wait to remove the masking after completing the clear coat. I could have used some guidance in this area. If you could add some guidance to your instructions that would be helpful. Overall, this is a great product that can make your car look new again at a pretty low cost, even if you don't know how to paint.

The touch up paint worked so well I had trouble finding the scratches to apply the clear coat. I would recommend this fix for anyone. It matched and covered the scratches so that you can hardly find them.
