I wanted to add window louvers to my Mustang. They cost about $25 a set. Ordering them pre-painted would cost about $100. And there’s no guarantee that they would match the paint perfectly. I figured to give your product a try and see how it would turn out. I was more than satisfied and decided To paint the rear louvers also. I read ordered more paint and I’m waiting to finish the project.

The dreaded clear coat flaking started on the hood and side scoops of my Mustang. It would cost $2,000 plus to repaint the scoops and a couple of other areas. Decided to try to paint the scoops myself with paint and clear from Automotive Touchup. It looks great! Saved the $2000 for some house projects.

I had my Mustang painted from red to blue. Painter would not paint under the hood. I was left with a red engine bay on a blue car! I turned to automotive touch up and got the exact paint I need. Now my engine bay looks like it came loose from the factory!

Clearcoat clumped and had to be wet sanded, but for chips the applicators work great.

I'm very pleased with AutomotiveTouchups product. I just bought a Mustang and found out I can't buy my color in the store that it had to be ordered. So I found Automotive touchup and they made the process so easy in identifying what my color is. I took the side skirts off sanded primed and used AutomotiveTouchup's 12oz Spray can followed by clearcoat and it looks amazing!!! Spot on match for a difficult color on a flexible-rubber bumper cover.
You have just won my business. Humidity was an issue but I worked around that. The sprayer quality was excellent -- much like a professional air gun. Paint goes on smooth and does not spatter.
One suggestion -- I saw where the pattern could be adjusted on a Plasti-Kote clear coat can of spray paint (from a round to an oval to a line pattern. That would really be handy.

Having a car with a custom color Grabber Orange or Valencia as it is on your website. You just cant go down to the local auto store and by touch-up paint. Great products! I used them to paint a chin spoiler and side louvers made of ABS plastic. I called to get instructions on which products and how to use them and received friendly advice. After installing the pieces, looks like they came from the factory that way.

Kudos to the company. The paint matched very well. Metallic paints are not very easy to match, as there are different variations, depending on whom the paint company was (SW, PPG or DuPont). I learned that the hard way on a 94 Firebird once. The local PPG store could not match it, so I finally went with DuPont and it matched perfectly.

The product goes on o.k. but a ball point type pen style instead of the felt tip would be better.
Need to get clear coat to go over the touch up paint as it is dull and shows up well.........

Like usual, the color match for Torch Red D3 was dead on. Because the original repair by a body shop did not remove trim, the clear coat had separated from the base coat and lifted. Did it the correct way and perfect. Better than Duplicolor!!!!!
