My 1966 Mustang had been repainted a different color by a previous owner, and I didn't know the color. But I guessed they used an original color for the mustang at that time; silver blue. In addition the paint had faded by various degrees on different panels that needed touchup. Believe it or not your paint was a very close match! It was a little bluer in some areas, but I believe that's due to the fading. It definitely is a great improvement. Thank you!

I was having a hard time finding touch up paint for my 1966 Mustang. It is kind of a odd color (Sauterne Gold) that was only used a couple of years. After a lot of searching I ran across Automotive Touchup. They were able to supply me with what I needed in a very reasonably amount of time. The product matched well.

The paint color was a perfect match! However, classic cars and their paint are tricky and my 1966 Fastback Mustang (daily driver) is no exception. The paint was easy to apply, although a bit messy (should have worn gloves). The paint is more viscous than I was expecting so a few drips fell on the ground and it was all over my hand and the bottle by the end. In the larger spaces where I had lost paint, there is an obvious lip in the service of the original paint and the white space where you could see the primer. the AutomotiveTouchUp paint covered all the white space in a few coats; however there was no way it was going to be a magic solution to my problems. The only thing to do is, in the future, get a new paint job. The touch up paint did offer a visual cover-up and I feel a lot better about parading my baby around without the sting of the bumps and bruises she has incurred over the past 6 years since her last paint job. Since I had picked a modern Nissan/Infiniti red when I got my paint job, it was easy to find a match on AutomotiveTouchUp and I recommend this avenue for any classic car.

I use AutomotiveTouchup paint on ALL my cars. The color match is the best I can get from anyone. I've used the mini-bottles with the little brush and the spray cans for bigger projects. I could not have been more satisfied with Automotive Touchup paint. Just a few days before a big show I noticed a place on the rear valance panel of my '66 Mustang that had been discolored by the tail pipe. I found Automotive Touchup online and ordered the Aerosol Spray in Springtime Yellow. The car had been painted in 2011 so I was hoping for a good match. It was right on. After prepping, painting & a coat of clear you can't tell the difference. The order arrived in just 3 days.
