Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1963 Ford All Models is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Warren R, owner of a 1963 Ford from Rancho Santa Fe, CA

I have 63 ford Thunderbird, Rangoon red. The pint is a perfect math for the original. The clearcoat is also top notch.

Jack H, owner of a 1963 Ford from Desert Hot Springs, CA

Previously ordered paint for a Miata and it was a perfect match. Happy camper! Then I ordered paint for my classic third, not even close but it could have been me. Will recheck the paint numbers and reorder.

Gary S, owner of a 1963 Ford from Corona Del Mar, CA

GREAT PAINT AND EASY TO USE... GREAT COLOR MATCH..

Larry B, owner of a 1963 Ford from Fort Lauderdale, FL

The ordering process was great and gave me confidence that I was ordering the correct paint for my 1963 Ford. A Local Body Shop owner did the actual touch up painting of the vehicle. He said you bought the best paint. One can hardly tell where he did the touch up! Thank you so much for this resource. Larry

Michael R, owner of a 1963 Ford from Livingston, TX

This is perfect! From the order process to delivery. The paint matches perfectly! Thanks for making my touch up easy.

Ken S, owner of a 1963 Ford from Parkville, MD

Great Product! The color matching was unbelievable. My car is 53 years old with original paint and the touch paint I purchased blended well.

David W, owner of a 1963 Ford from Trexlertown, PA

I'm very satisfied with your touch up paint. I'm working on a 53 year old car with much of its original paint but it needed a few touch ups. Your blend was easy to apply, matched perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Thanks!

Dennis L, owner of a 1963 Ford from Chesapeake, VA

Had a small electrical fire under the hood of my 1963 TBird. Minor damage but scorched the underside of the hood. Bought the spray paint and clearcoat and it blended in very well. Can't tell there was any damage at all. Very pleased with the product.

Michael H, owner of a 1963 Ford from Spring Valley, CA

It was a perfect color match.

James R, owner of a 1963 Ford from Cheboygan, MI

I have a 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 that I painted laser red, a Ford Mustang color, and I use Automotive touchup for painting interior trim. I think is a great product. It matches perfectly and sprays on really nice. I highly recommend your product.

Warren R, owner of a 1963 Ford from Rancho Santa Fe, CA

I used custom mixed "J" code for my 63 thunderbird restoration. I used it under the rear bumper and inside the tail light housing. it is not seen when the bumper is reinstalled. it seems to match the original outside paint well. I did not color sand it or buff it as it is not seen except when the bumper is off. The products sprayed on well (base and clear) and I am happy and will buy again. The pre-taped masking paper I also bought was very handy. Overall very pleased with the outcome.

Al, owner of a 1963 Ford

Great match, can't tell where the nicks were. Thanks Al

Larry H, owner of a 1963 Ford from Aurora, IL

Finally after owning my 1963 Ford f100 that was a frame off restoration in 1995 I've owned since 2008, I've found touch paint that matches perfect.

Bennie P, owner of a 1963 Ford from Sanford, NC

Both colors for my 1999 F250 SD and 1963 1/2 Ford will get the job done. I will try the spray touch up for my 1963 1/2 Ford later this spring. Bennie Pokemire
