Restore Your 1997 Chevrolet Silverado Finish In Two Steps

Select Your Chevrolet's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1997 Chevrolet Silverado using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1997 Chevrolet Silverado is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Rick C, owner of a 1997 Chevrolet Silverado from AR

The paint was a perfect match. We bought the primer, spray paint and clear coat, along with sanding supplies. However, it still looked like a can spray paint job (we aren't professionals though) and even though we ordered two cans of clear coat (per specs) it didn't look to be enough. Also, dust seems to cling to this repair job (hood) more than the rest of truck. Overall, for an old truck with peeling hood, it is better than paying several hundred $ for a professional and we wouldn't have found such an exact paint match in any automotive store.

Eliezer P, owner of a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu from Mount Holly, NJ

Thanks, for your help in painting my Car. I will recommend more people to buy paint for their future purchase.

Bruce C, owner of a 1998 Chevrolet S10 Blazer from Tucson, AZ

Order twice as much as you think you need. I had JUST enough for my base coat and you can always put on lots of clear coat. The project came out good but with more paint it would have been excellent. Good product.
