I ordered a spray can of Artesian Turquoise Metallic paint for my 1965 Chevrolet Corvair. Although the color was a very slight half a shade lighter than the paint on the car (I don't believe the original paint is on the car, most likely has been re-painted sometime in the past) after the initial spraying and then feathering the new paint with the old and four coats of clear coat, it turned out great, better than I expected!

Your paint was a good color match, but it doesn't seem to have the hardness of the original paint, it's easily chipped. I use four coats of base and four coats of clear. I've used spray as well as the bottle paint, on this vehicle as well as four others. The bottle paint seems tougher to the slightest damage.

Perfect color match. Since I am female I had never “painted” a car before so followed directions carefully. When I started to apply the second coat I had a difficult time finding the areas as they had almost disappeared. I am hoping I found all areas for clear coat.

I saw the commercial and I didn't think they'd have the match for an original '65 Chevy. When I looked it up and saw the correct name listed on the website, I was pretty impressed. Color match on a car paint that's 51 years old?!
The paint arrived in a timely manner and I applied it that same night. I gotta say I was pretty impressed with the match. The paint has that strong quality smell to it too so you know you're not buying cheap stuff.

I can't be happier with the appearance of this paint. Also, for a spray can, the coverage and spray pattern were superb. There was no color match to be had because it was a color change but the paint compliments my new carpet perfectly. No doubt I will be coming back to AutomotiveTouchup for my next project.

The paint that my vehicle calls for is not what I was sent and isn't close to what I need. Having said that I am not necessarily unhappy with Touchup because we really don't know why this happened. I have sent back a painted card that they can analyze and try to figure out what went wrong and fix the problem. I get the feeling that customer service rates high on their importance scale so I have little doubt this won't work out fine. I have ordered 2 other colors in the past from Touchup that were exact which is why I came back. Don't let my review turn you off on Touchup, its good to know they stand behind their product.

I used the paint pen for the first time and did not like it. It did not flow consistently.
The color match was perfect however.
I plan to order again but this time it will be a brush in a bottle.

My base-coat & clear just arrived. I have applied them to my brake booster and master cylinder on my 1965 Chevy C10 pickup truck. The Nissan NAH pearl matches my truck perfectly. The newly painted area makes the chrome on the engine really stand out. I could not have asked for a better match. I highly recommend!!
