Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2004 Nissan Z is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jim L, owner of a 2003 Nissan Maxima from Orleans, MA

I recently received my order of aerosol 2003 Nissan maxima Gray Lustre Metallic code KV3 more quickly than I expected. As the instructions suggested, I did test spraying in the test card. I used the light spraying technique they suggested to keep the color light...I guess this makes the metal flake more prominent. After clearcoating, I could see a very good color match with my car. I sprayed the car repair area with 3 light double coats and again got a good match. After clearcoating, light sanding with 1500 grit pad, followed by light application of rubbing compound, then buffing polish, the resulting color blend was nearly imperceptible. I am very pleased with the results.

Jeremy D, owner of a 2003 Nissan Maxima from Elkton, VA
