Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2004 Nissan Titan is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Peter I, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Woodstock, IL

Weather has been too cool to spray but I will have an indoor space soon. Tested on scrap and color match looks ok. One of the cans seems to be a little finicky but I hope it will be ok when I do a larger area. Will let you know Peter I

Bob A, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Uncasville, CT

Fast shipping, Great product perfect match.

Ron N, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Yakima, WA

I painted a 2000 Chevy Tahoe replacement fender flare before with your aerosol cans, the paint was as silver metallic and the match was perfect. This time I was repainting two 2004 Nissan Titan front existing bumper covers that are a white Q10 color. I removed them from the bumper and sanded down all the imperfection in the paint, repaired some gouges with a plastic filler, and used a heat gun to reform a few areas that had small dimples in the plastic. I spent much time sanding and prepping them for primer and painting. I used 220 grit in trouble spots where I was doing plastic repairs, then used 320 grit to prep for the primmer, most all sanding was wet sanding. Using the suggested time intervals for application of the primmer, in a garage with a paper mat down, a few fans to draw out over spray and in temp of 72 degrees and 48 percent humidity I applied 2 coats of white primer and then wet sanded with 600 grit preparing them for the base coat. I applied 3 coats of the base coat and then 5 clear coats. Overall I am happy with the results and here is my results and comment on using the aerosol cans. The paint sprays out in a nice fan pattern and covers around 4-5 inch top to bottom area. While spraying I did encounter several times drops of paint fell from the tip and onto freshly painted area as I was making more passes painting, this was very frustrating, If at all possible avoid using these cans horizontally, I had to let dry and sand off the drips, not a ideal thing to have to do. This did affect the whole process and I wish I did not have to deal with this happening. This only seemed to happen when using the color base coat. Also when the base coat cans got about half empty point the pattern stayed the same but there was a noticeable interruption of paint flow and at times caused some spitting of the paint. I was not happy with this but let it go and later found that the clear coat pretty much covered this issue up. The end results are smooth and nice looking finish. But for some reason the color match is off. How to explain is somewhat difficult but if I were to call my factory paint a bright bright white I 'd call the newly applied paint as only bright white, not yellow white but just not as white. Since this paint was not used to blend on to existing panel and color it is not that bad, but I am glad I did not use it to repair a few small door dings as I don't think it would have blended very well, Would I use these products again form Automotive touch up, Yes I would.

Allan P, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Citrus Heights, CA

I just finished using your products to repair my Titan. The bottom of the front fender and door were totally smashed in. I had someone pull out the damaged areas. Then I used the Bondo, sandpaper, primer, color matched paint, and clear coat that I purchased from automotivetouchup.com. I was amazed at how well it came out. The color match was excellent! I have had many compliments on how well the job came out.

Tom R, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from NC

Thanks, the paint was just right and did exactly what I wanted to do.

Rick C, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Meridianville, AL

John D, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Franklin, VA

I am very satisfied with spray paint. Color was very close to original. Have to look close to see difference. Received on time and if I need any in the future will order from you. John D

James L, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Lakeside, CA

I have used your paints before and loved them. This time was 2004 Nissan Titan rocker panel bottom of door area. The application of the material is easy with good results. The color was spot on. The only thing I was not quite satisfied with was the metal flake. I am blaming this on myself, because I know that there are many things, spraying too close, to far ect. that influence how the flake lays down. This happens to be not quite as flakey as the original paint, but as I say it is more than likely do to my amateur abilities.- I think I had my spray can too close. - 6 inches. Thank you James L.

Shane M, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Trumann, AR

So far I'm very impressed.

Russ B, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Bellefonte, PA

The paint was a perfect match, along with the clear coat, it turned out better than I expected. Highly recommend this product for any do it your selfer!

Adam K, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Bethlehem, PA

Chris R, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Farmington, MI

Bought smoke metallic paint for my Nissan Titan to touch up a rust spot. Color matched perfect. Only cost $20. Would definitely do business again.

Gary F, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Avenel, NJ

As always your paint matches perfectly! I sprayed the side of my truck bed with your 2 stage urethane. My boss charges $200 just to use the spray booth! I have a compressor at home and decided to paint my silver truck in my driveway. There were a couple of bugs in the clear coat but they buffed right out. The color was excellent! I used a $40 HVLP spray gun! You can never tell the truck was damaged! Great product!

James B, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Newmarket, NH

I used your products to repair a surface rust spot on my 2004 Nissan Titan. Perfect color match (C10) and great clear coat = excellent results. Thank you!

Michael E, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Howard, PA

Paint matched perfect and after rubbing out clear it looked better than the OEM finish. Would purchase products again and recommend them to my friends.

Richard, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Marco Island, FL

Very pleased and satisfied with product and service. I have a 2004 Nissan Titan, and I have cats. The cats sleep on the hood and top of the truck and their body oils dissolved the clear and color coat, also leaving a residue. Cost to repair was estimated at $1800.00. I ordered color and clear coat to match and had truck hood, fender tops, and top of truck prepped when paint arrived. Many told me I could not paint such a large area with a spray can. The results were very good. The color matched the clear coat sanded and polished to a like new paint job. Total cost, color, clear, sand paper, polish, and new polisher $300. I am impressed with the product, and the service. For touch up in a couple of other places the results were perfect. I am ordering more paint for my step sons car with a bad paint job on the hood. Thank you

RJ P, owner of a 2004 Nissan Titan from Kissimmee, FL

Great Company... They sent out the wrong touch up paint the first time. Just one number off. It was very close but not a match so I called them up and talked to a Very Nice Women in Customer Service, She was a great help and sent out the right bottle the next day... Great Company and I will do business with them again and spread the word....
