Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1985 Nissan Truck is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Chris C, owner of a 1985 Nissan Truck from Portland, OR

The factory color aerosol paint, clearcoat, and primer I have been using from Automotive Touchup is nearly a perfect factory match for the original blue color on my 80's vintage Nissan pickup. I painted the entire roof, cowl panel, and spot areas on my truck with very good results for being only a "rattle can" job. It has really enhanced the looks and value for that matter of my truck and I receive compliments all of the time on how clean and stock it looks. The aerosol can paint from Automotive Touchup is a great economical alternative to a professional paint job that would well exceed the value of the truck. I highly recommend Automotive Touchup paint products to any DIY vehicle owner that wants to repair their aging or damaged paint job on their vehicle.

It was GREAT to find touch-up paint for a 37 year old Jap pickup Thanks

William M, owner of a 1986 Nissan Truck from Brinnon, WA

My 28 year old Nissan hardbody 4x4 was showing it's age by the small dings and scratches enough without some low life stealing my tailgate with a nice piece of mahogany epoxied across the width of it. I purchased another tailgate from a junkyard and epoxied another mahogany board to it but I couldn't find the right color match for my truck from Dupli-color. They were nice enough to give me your web address and you sent me the correct color. Waiting for a nice warm day I sprayed the tailgate and offending dings and scratches and....lo and behold...just like new. My Infiniti M30 coupe will be next. Thanks so much, Bill Mitchell
