The color match is excellent. I took my car to a collision place to get an estimate. They insisted that I needed a new hood for my car rather than touch it up. $1800 quote is what I was given. I decided to explore this option first. I am glad that I did. I purchased base coat paint, primer, and clear coat. These worked like a charm.

I had minor scratches from another car scraping mine. The color match was perfect. In retrospect I would have done two things.
1. Use a polishing compound/scratch remover first to minimize the damage.
2. Get a jar rather than the pen and use a fine artists brush; the pen went on too thick and more difficult to control.
Overall, very satisfied with the product.

The paint matched perfectly. The problem was that the area that needed repair was too narrow for the applicator. Wish the paint could be purchased in an applicator that can apply a finer line. I purchased a repair kit for my previous car and the applicator looked like a ball point pen. One had to press the end of the applicator against the scratch. Depending upon how hard the applicator was pressed would control the amount of paint dispersed.

Automotive Touchup paint is fabulous. I could not be happier. My new black Camry received some major scratches at the supermarket.
