Wow, I could not believe the finished result. A couple of months ago, I backed into a fence and scraped the back bumper of my brand new pearl white Prius. The paint on the bumper had been scraped away, right down to the grey plastic....in other areas, the paint was scraped away as the bumper moved across the fence. Needless to say, I was speechless, but I decided to take a chance and repair the damage myself. If it looked bad, I would have the insurance company take care of it. I was concerned about the color, because Toyota charges extra when you purchase the car. I ordered the paint from Automotive Touchup, using the code on the car door. Couple of weeks later, I received 2 cans, a base coat and a mid coat. I just finished the repair today, and it looks like new. Now, I want to paint the entire front bumper on my Civic, which is full of rock and pebble chips. I'll let you know how that turns out!

I made a 4 inch scratch on the side of my rear bumper. The scratch was down to bare metal. I had never done any body work. Women don't normally do that. But I didn't want to pay a bodyshop to paint the whole bumper. So I tried it. I used a primer and the paint color was a two step. First I sanded the scratch than used a tack cloth then applied the first coat 3 times than the second color 3 times using tack cloth in between coats. I then applied 3 clear coats. The paint job looks great. You can't tell where I scratched it. I would recommend this paint to anyone. I used the spray paint in the can.

* New Prius V, and I made the stupid mistake of being careless about opening a door near a bicycle that had no handlebar end-cap. Just a very small nick, but I didn't want moisture to get to it so I went online and found you guys. Got Blue Ribbon Metallic and clear coat for a total of about $36, but think how many more times I can fix little nicks and think how much I would pay a paint shop. My work is not perfect, but you have to get VERY close to see that. Thanks!
