My son rear-ended a full size pickup at an interstate off ramp - barely scratched the other guy's rear bumper, but it tore a 5" hole in my son's front bumper cover, slightly dented the hood and broke the mounts on the passenger side headlight assembly. We replaced the headlight easily enough and my son said the hood wasn't bad enough for him to care, but the bumper cover just had to go. We got an unpainted factory replacement bumper cover and I ordered the matching paint and clear coat. Fortunately for us, my workplace has a paint shop and our Parts Manager used to be over the paint shop, so she and I painted the bumper cover in one afternoon. It looks great - probably better than the rest of the car!

The paint was a great match for "Impulse Red", it took about 4-5 coats to cover my replacement side view mirror (the part needed black plastic painted). Then put 4 coats of clear coat and let it cure a few days prior to install. You really can't tell the difference between that and the original.

I ordered the primer, base coat and clear coat in the 12 Oz aerosol can. Excellent quality paint, best I have ever used. Color matched perfectly. The coats spread evenly and thinly. The paint has a nice, thin acrylic lacquer base which coats with out running and spreads evenly. Dries quickly. Will order more and re-paint other parts of my vehicle.

This is the only paint I use when doing touch up work on any of our vehicles. I adding a hood scoop to my 2013 Toyota Tundra. I used the automotive touch up paint to paint the scoop and every one thinks it is stock because it matches so well. This paint is the best! I had to do rust abatement on my sons 2005 Toyota Corolla and as stated the color matched perfectly.
